VRの申し子、Oculus Rift VRがようやく出荷となり、ユーザーの手元に届き始めました。最初にオーダーしてくれたアラスカのユーザーに創業者のラッキーさんが手渡しで届けているのがニュースになっております。
VR市場は2020年までに300億ドル（3.3兆円）になるという試算もあるほど大きな市場で、FacebookはこのVRヘッドセットメーカーを20億ドルで2014年3月に買収。すぐに火がつくタイプの市場ではないですが、じわりとその足音が聞こえてきております。
